Due to the importance attached to the Prophetic sunna, and doubts concerning Shiite approach to the Prophetic sunna, the author of the present paper first views the status of Prophetic sunna in Shiite sources and then evaluates the related hadiths according to both Shiite and Sunni sources.

In the second part of this paper, importance of surveying the application rate of Prophetic sunna in Shiite hadith collections has been discussed and results of a survey are presented briefly.
